With a maximum of 6­–8 players per class, on 2 courts, you are sure to get plenty of time training with your coach

Whether you are a completely new to the game of squash, an intermediate/advanced player, or somewhere in between, we’ve developed the perfect class to help you go from where you are TODAY to where you want to be / could be in the shortest time possible.
 
Depending on your squash skills, ambition and fitness levels, we offer you the following options:

​LTP is designed for new players to squash looking to learn the basics quickly while having fun and getting some healthy exercise.
 
If you’re intrigued by the sport but don’t know where to begin…
 
We’ll teach you all the basics step-by-step.

LEARN TO HOLD THE RACKET THE CORRECT WAY FROM THE START
​
We’ll ensure your grip is correct. With the right grip, you will be able to hit the forehand and backhand from the same grip. But, if your forefinger and thumb are misaligned, you’ll end up losing control and won’t hit all shots in the game.

NOW ENJOY HITTING THE BALL CONSISTANTLY
​
Often start-up players think it is easy to hit the ball because when they watch other players, they make it look effortless, but it is a harder skill to master than you think.  We’ll teach you what you need to change in the moment to become aware how to develop a great connection with the ball, which will feel very rewarding.

We will teach you how to get your racquet up, where to position your feet, impact point and where you should follow through to, so you can increase your consistency.

We’ll show you how to move and use your body safely and efficiently on court! No one wants to be the player who runs around like a headless chook! We’ll show you how to take control of yourself and learn how to position yourself correctly.

The classes are your chance to make new friends. You'll be on court with like-minded people who want to get fit, while developing strength, building endurance and learning new skills. If you have a friend, bring him/her along, the more, the merrier.

Squash requires quick and fluid movement, agility and reflexes. The class is designed to incorporate ALL of these 3 critical elements in every class.

Are You A Squash Beginner Or Experienced Racquet Competitor Looking to Hone Your Skills to Take on More Experienced Players? The Beginner Class Is for You
We welcome all beginner players with a Sporty HQ rating of 350-549 (don't worry if you don't have or know your Sporty HQ!) or previous racquet sports competitors who have completed 25 hours+ playing badminton, tennis, table tennis or any other racquet sport. 

If you do not know your level, please contact us with your squash/racquet sport experience, and we will help you out.
 
Our beginner classes will teach you:

DEVELOP THE BASIC TECHNIQUE TO POSITION THE BALL WHERE YOU WANT
​We’ll teach you the key fundamentals of the swing (racquet up, arm position, follow through), the position of where you should hit the ball (early, late, between your two feet) and demonstrate the correct foundations to help you advance your skill.

ESTABLISH PROPER FOOTWORK
​
Squash is a very physically demanding sport, and often beginner players make it a lot harder than it needs to be. Learn the correct movement patterns and develop your understanding of how to best position yourself to out maneuverer your opponent.

​
Have fun learning the correct technique to position the ball on both serve & return of serve.  Developing these two areas in your game will give you a far more enjoyable experience getting rallies going and having a great sweat out. Also, we’ll teach you how to get an edge from the very first shot.

You’ll learn simple tactics to overcome opponents quickly with potentially more skill than you.  Once you know a few of these different tactical approaches to apply, your opposition will have no idea what just happened to them.

You may have an understanding of the rules of the game but have had questions and challenges in the heat of the moment and didn’t really know the correct rule in the situation. Learn the rules the right way to enhance your game and make it a far more enjoyable challenge.
During your sessions, you will engage in skill development and a high-intensity workout.

In addition to technical work, we will perform cardio, strength, and core stability exercises.

Our Classes for Intermediate Squash Players will accelerate your training by teaching you the advanced skills of squash. 
 
With a maximum of six players on two courts, our Intermediate classes offer you an ideal controlled and highly organised environment where players are driven to make the most of their training and help you succeed.
 
Every week you will focus on a specific theme to help you master drills, feeding, and specialised routines using little-known training principles that work. We will work on technical skills as well as putting you through a high-intensity workout, including cardio, strength work, and core stability exercises.
 
You will understand how to accelerate quickly and powerfully from any position and glide on the court, without putting unnecessary strain on your body, especially knees, ankles, hips and thighs.

During your sessions, you should be prepared for both skill development and a high-intensity workout — no matter your level of class (Learn to Play, Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced).
