Aaron is still playing competitively, ranked in the Top 3 Australian- based players.

As a junior, Aaron was 7-time Australian Junior Champion (1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), including twice in the Under 19 age group.

SYDNEY IS ONE OF THE TOP 10
MOST LIVABLE CITIES IN THE WORLD
Picture
Sydney is known as one of the best livable cities in the world, recently named the fifth best city on the planet. So moving here won’t just be a great strategic career choice, but also an exciting lifestyle change/improvement (with no disrespect to where you live now).

From breathtaking landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and the iconic Harbour Bridge to world-famous leisure spots like Manly and Bondi Beaches, you’ll constantly be amazed at the countless vistas of the majestic Sydney Harbour filled with sail boats, cruise liners and ferries...it’s no surprise that Sydney was named in the World’s Top 10 Most Beautiful Cities.

It gets better, Sydney has amazing weather. Picture this; you go for a morning jog, a cool breeze running across your face 12 months of the year, looking at views so beautiful you’ll want to stop and take photos to send to your friends and family back home... and you think to yourself...”Someone pinch me, is this for real? What a gorgeous place!”.

Sydney is also one of the most multicultural cities in the world. You know what that means – great food! Whether you’re in the mood for authentic street food or a classic local fare; Aussie chicken parmigiana or fish and chips wrapped in paper, Sydney has some of the most diverse and exciting eating experiences to tantalise your tastebuds.

When it comes to having fun and meeting people, Sydney has you covered. People are very friendly, so you don’t need to worry about fitting in. In fact, Sydney was named the safest and friendliest city in the world. You’ll see this easy-going manner on and off court with frequent “Sorry mate” and “She’ll be right”.

Words on their own just don’t do justice to the beauty that is Sydney. If you come out for a 3-6 month ‘workation’ and experience the city for yourself, you’ll understand exactly what we mean. We must forewarn you: If come out for a temporary contract, you might just fall in love with the place and never leave!

Australia is a sport-fanatic country with a huge Olympic and Commonwealth Games legacy across both winter and summer sports ans of course the Australia Open Tennis Grand Slam. Not to be outdone, Squash has a deep cultural affiliation and thriving community dating back to the 1960s and 1970s.

Australia has produced several male and female World and Commonwealth squash champions. With a several PSA circuits that attract international players who want ranking points, Australia is a great springboard for players in the top 300 who want to break into the top 100. Wouldn’t it be amazing to coach them?

Sydney and The East Coast Squash Academy it’s the whole package, just waiting for you...
OUR SKILL DEVELOPMENT HAS
ALL THE BASES COVERED
We are MORE than just a squash club. We have start-up, elite and High Performance programs for Juniors, adults and professional players. We run corporate events, tournaments, specialised clinics, squash camps, Play-The-Pro and Short High Intensity Interval Training (SHIIT sessions).

The Academy was founded on a “centre of excellence” concept made available for all levels of players, not just the elite, and it integrates four dimensions:
  • Technical: How to hit the ball, stroke analysis and effective movement.
  • Strategic: Shot selection, execution and decision-making.
  • Physical: Quickness, speed, agility, endurance and overall fitness and strength conditioning.
  • Mental: Leveraging leading sports psychology principles to improve mental toughness and resilience to achieve peak performance at each level of proficiency, ability and age.

Our mission is to grow the game of squash for players of all ages. We want to give opportunities to rising stars in Australia to play squash full time with role models and the structure to achieve their full potential.

Would you like to join us in that quest?

HIGH STANDARDS & EXPECTATIONS
Picture

In accordance with this approach, you’re open to feedback for your own improvement and self-development. You realise that no one regardless of his/her background and professional profile has all the answers. This is where being a team player will help you to achieve more than you otherwise would if you were doing this on your own.
OUR HIRING PROCESS IS BASED ON
BEST PRACTICES & METHODOLOGY
Step one is for you to submit your expression of interest via an email with your current CV or short bio. We want to hear why you think you’re the right person for this opportunity. Simply be yourself. Don’t try to be funny or creative. We just want to get to know you as a person. Please provide a short video clip of you playing or coaching, so we can assess your level of proficiency.

What we’re really interested for is your personality and if that fits with our approach.

If your introductory email ‘ticks all the necessary boxes’, we’ll send you a personality profile test to further determine if you’ll fit into our team structure. Following that, we'll set up a video conference call to meet & greet you.

We have a very systemised and deliberate process to make the best hiring decision because we know this is as important for you as it is for us.
