Enhance your way back on court
and train like a Pro with
Training Squads

Training Squads are designed to accelerate your squash skills using an advanced, hands-on, and high-intensity approach. If you’re a beginner, you will have an opportunity to harness your abilities to take on more experienced players. If you’re a seasoned player, you will learn how to advance your skills and develop an edge to take on the elite opponent. Our Squads are capped at just eight beginner players and six intermediate/advanced players per class, on two courts. That way, you will get higher intensity workouts to maximise your progress.

Beginner Plus Training Squads (BPTS)

If you’re a beginner plus player with a minimum of 25hrs+ on-court experience (Sporty HQ rating of 350 to 600) or 50hours + of other racquet sport experience (e.g., tennis, badminton, and racquetball) or other sports such as hockey or cricket, this is for you! If you’re entirely new to squash our Beginner Small Group Classes are for you.

While all equipment is provided, the minimum experience is essential. You will harness game fundamentals, including basic strategy, game rules, and learn techniques such as swing and movement. BPTS combines high-intensity cardio with a blend of fitness, technique, and strategy to help you become a well-rounded player.
Beginner Training Squads (BTS) covers:

Building your Strenght and Stamina
While BTS is beginner level, your readiness to improve your game, your technique, and your endurance and fitness levels is essential. That’s because, in addition to technical work, you will be performing strength, cardio, and core stability exercises.

We'll provide you with:
  • Racquet
  • Balls
  • Court Booking
  • Cones
  • Ladders
  • A qualified squash coach
  • Hand wipes and disinfectant before/after EACH session.
Please Note – We will enforce the government social distancing rules throughout the sessions.

What you will need:
  • Non-marking athletic shoes
  • Appropriate athletic clothing
  • Water bottle

Additional reasons to sign up:
  • You’ll enjoy the variation of playing squash rather than going to the gym.
  • The classes are time efficient, which gives you a great work out in a short space of time.
  • Playing a game getting fit is a lot more fun than going for a run or lifting weights.
  • Learn a new skill while losing weight.

Each class is capped at eight players. This is to give each player maximum attention. Once the classes fill up, that it is. You might need to wait for the current members to advance to the next level before new classes become available.

To avoid disappointment, please register right now!

Intermediate Training Squads (ITS)

These Squads are designed for players with a Sporty HQ rating of between 600 to 899. Each week, we will target a different aspect of the game to help you learn adequate fundamentals in strength, stability, and endurance. The Squads consists of special drills, routines, and conditioned games to help you develop speed, power, and agility.

Take your squash skills to the next level of performance
As an intermediate squash player, you’ve developed your hand-eye coordination and footwork. Now it’s time to take your game to the NEXT level of performance.

Our Squads are designed to accelerate your training through advanced techniques. With just six players per squad, it offers you an ideal opportunity to make the most of your workouts in a controlled and highly structured training environment.

Make every minute count
There is no guesswork in ITS. That’s because each week you will focus on a specific theme to help you master drills, and specialised routines. Since each training session will be matched to your skills and experience, and other highly motivated and skilled players will motivate you, you can expect the fastest results.

You will finally understand how to be game ready from any position. You will learn how to glide on the court and accelerate quickly and powerfully, without putting any unnecessary stress on the body.

Advanced Training Squads (ATS)

ATS is designed for players with the Sporty HQ rating of 900+. Each week, we will target a different aspect of the game to help you accelerate your progress. Together we will advance and evolve your game through high-intensity drills, routines, conditioned games, and match play, to help you accelerate and decelerate safely from any position minimising the risks of injury while overcoming your plateau.

Get past your plateau and start making progress again!
If you’ve hit a decrease in performance, then training harder is unlikely to get you moving again. Possibly, training harder worked well when you had less experience, but now that you are an advanced player you need to change your approach.

Let’s face it. You don’t need more motivation or enthusiasm. Your determination got you to where you are today, so pat yourself on the back. But, increasing your training intensity is more likely to lead to overtraining and possibly injury.

So, how do you overcome your plateau and get moving again?
You need professional, guided coaching to get you out of your sticky point.

That’s exactly what ATS is designed to do.

As an advanced player, you might like to overcome your plateau and perform more efficient strokes with greater power and greater economy of movement.
