INTERMEDIATE
Squash Lesson 1.1 Footwork and Body position DESCRIPTION Movement is a key factor in a game of squash. Knowing which foot to hit off can make a big difference to the outcome of your shot. In this class, we will teach movement patterns to train the muscle memory to get yourself in the right position. This session will create the awareness of how you should move around the squash court and how you are moving around the squash court. Through these principals, we will build up from the very simple basic movements to more real game scenario situations to help you learn to react with the basic movement patterns under duress. |
ADVANCED
Squash Lesson 1.2 Serve & Return of Serve DESCRIPTION To start any point, this is the one essential skill you have to be able to do. This is an underrated tool in squash, and if you do not develop this, you can be put into defensive positions straight away. We will go through the fundamentals of the serve and return of serve explaining to you the simple strategies of where to hit. This session will build up from basic serve and return of serve to playing out full court rallies. My outcome for you will be to understand the strategies of the Serve and Return of Serve and give you the key to understand how to develop this skill. |
