The East Coast Squash Academy is a unique business model in Australia giving Former (PSA and WISPA) Professional players an opportunity to be full time coaching professionals in one of our facilities, in the beautiful location of Sydney, Australia.  

We provide all the infrastructure to develop participation inside existing squash facilities and have recently   expanded to two venues Willoughby Squash Club and Bondi Waverley Squash Club.  As a result, we're  looking to increasing our coaching team and faculty.

Squash has made a break through in the UK by signing BT Sport to televise all World Series Tournaments.

BT Sport To Become Home Of Squash In The UK
 
The Professional Squash Association (PSA) are pleased to announce that they have signed a new broadcast and marketing partnership with BT Sport that will see them become the PSA's Official British Broadcast Partner.
 
Coming into effect immediately, the agreement will see BT Sport, one of the biggest sports broadcasters in the UK, televise coverage from all PSA World Series tournaments, including the showpiece World Championship.
 
With the likes of three-time men's World Champion Nick Matthew and 2013 women's World Champion Laura Massaro amongst a group of British players currently atop the men's and women's tours, BT Sport will give UK squash fans the chance to watch every semi-final and final encounter live from some of world sport’s most unique locations, with other select matches also to be aired on the channel.
 
BT Sport will also receive extensive branding at all UK-based PSA events and form an integral part of all marketing and communication activity with the PSA’s growing UK squash community of over 250,000 active members.
 
"We are delighted to have reached an agreement with BT Sport and look forward to working with them over the next few years in what we feel is a fantastic move for the sport," said PSA Chief Executive Alex Gough.
 
"BT are a major broadcaster with a dedicated focus on sports and throughout our negotiations it was clear that BT are genuinely passionate about squash and excited about what the sport will add to their current line-up.
 
"With the recent announcement regarding a merger between the WSA and PSA, aligned with our new three-year World Series tournament structure, the next few years promise to be an exciting time for squash and we feel that BT are a perfect partner for us in  that journey."
 
As part of the deal, which was agreed in conjunction with international rights and production agency Broadreach Media, BT Sport will also show extended tournament highlights to enhance their coverage of the PSA World Tour. 
 
Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said “We’re delighted to announce our partnership with the Professional Squash Association, making BT Sport the home of Squash in the UK. 

"We look forward to delivering comprehensive coverage and highlights of the men’s and women’s World Series to fans in the UK.”

East Coast Squash Academy has been running the Active After Schools Squash Program called OZ Squash for over 1 and a half years now. Squash Australia has developed this program to go out into primary school after school care programs to create awareness in the community. The program runs as a 7 week course which develops the children's skills.  

Some schools in the 7th week choose to run a club Gala Day which gives them an opportunity to go on a squash court and see how the game is played. 


Below is a video of one of our Gala days where we were fortunate enough to have David Palmer in for our Adult Squash Camp & Exhibition hosted at Willoughby Squash to come in and help promote Squash. 

 This is one of our programs that feeds into our junior club programs that brings new players to the sport. They start off attending our Friday Junior Squads from 4 - 5:30pm, run in school terms.
