We are very excited to announce that two of our East Coast Squash Academy members have joined the National Talent Squad. This is a new part of Squash Australia's Performance Pathways initiative and an awesome opportunity for our two juniors. The National Junior Talent Squad Test Camp will be held at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra, coached by Tim Cowell, Vicki Cardwell, a Guest Coach, and Lisa Camilleri. Awesome job!
In addition, Shehana Vithana has been selected for the 2016 Australian Team that will compete in the Trans-Tasman Test Match Series at the Gold Coast in the middle of January next year! The team will consist of 2 boys and girls for U13, U15, U17, 2 girls for U19, and 4 boys for U19. Congratulations, Shehana, we cannot wait to see your progress and hear about your results in January.
